Donate blood and save lives – doing good right at the workplace.
On Tuesday, 1 July 2025, we held our first blood donation day in collaboration with the German Red Cross. We were able to welcome a large number of donors, around half of whom were first-time donors. We are particularly pleased with this high rate, as we reached people who had not previously come into contact with the topic. What’s more, donating blood for the first time takes a lot more effort, so it’s all the better that so many of our colleagues took the plunge.
Despite the summer temperatures, the campaign went smoothly thanks to the good air conditioning in the blood donation mobile. As a small thank you, all participants were invited to a snack and plenty of chocolate.
Together, we made an important contribution to the care of patients who are dependent on blood reserves!
