2. Legal basis upon which the data is processed
Data processing must have a legal basis, and we wish to present this to you below:
When personal data, for which we obtain the consent of the person concerned, is processed, Article 6 Paragraph 1 letter a of the EU Basic Data Processing Regulations (DSGVO) serves as the legal basis.

When data which is required in the fulfilment of a contract, the party to the contract is the person concerned is processed. Article 6 Paragraph 1 letter b of the EU Basic Data Processing Regulations (DSGVO) serves as the legal basis. This also covers the preparations required for carrying out pre-contractual measures.
Insofar as it is necessary to process personal data to fulfil a legal obligation incumbent upon our business, Article 6 Paragraph 1 letter c of the EU Basic Data Processing Regulations (DSGVO) will serve as the legal basis.

If processing is necessary to protect a justified interest of our business or of a third party, and if the interests, basic rights and basic freedoms of the person concerned do not prevail over the first-named interest, Article 6 Paragraph 1 letter f of the EU Basic Data Processing Regulations (DSGVO) shall consequently serve as the legal basis for processing the data. The justified interest of our business is in conducting our business activity as well as in the analysis, optimisation and maintenance of the security of our website content.

II. Log-Files, Hosting
Such data sent to us by the browser as part of our justified interest in the analysis and for security reasons will automatically be saved in the server statistics (so-called "logfiles").

This includes the following data in particular:

  • Operating system used and its user interface
  • Referrer URL (the last webpage visited)

As a rule we are unable to allocate this data to specific individuals. This data will not be merged with data from other sources. The data will, moreover, be deleted within 7 days following statistical analysis. Data which has to be kept for longer periods of time for the purpose of proof will not be deleted until the case in question has been finally clarified.

We use hosting services. These serve to provide infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, memory capacity and database services, security features as well as technical maintenance services to keep this website running.

In doing so we, or our hosting service provider, process inventory data, contact data, content data, contract data, usage data, meta and communication data for customers, potential customers and visitors to this website on the basis of our justified interests in providing an efficient and reliable website.

III. Contractual processing

You may also apply for a job with us by using our contact form. The data entered will only be used for the purpose of selecting applicants. By submitting a job application you are confirming that you agree to us contacting you in writing and/or over the telephone as part of the application procedure to keep you up to date. Please note that your data will not be saved in anonymized form, but will instead be accessible to our personnel department and the persons relevant for the situation vacant. We would like to select an applicant solely on the basis of their qualifications and experience, regardless of their race, ethnic background, sex, religion, political views, disability, age or sexual orientation. We would ask that you refrain from entering such information in your application if at all possible. You may amend your application or have it deleted at any time and revoke your consent.
